A Study on Oral Health Practice and Oral Health Knowledge among Early Childhood Teachers in Local Regions

Abstract
The aim of this study was to examine the oral health practice and oral health knowledge among early childhood teachers. This study were conducted in 130 early childhood teachers for five months, beginning in April, 2014. Data were analyzed using the SPSS Statistics 21.0 Program. Fifty seven percent reported that tooth brushing after eating is necessary, but only 26.7% reported that the children had their own bush. Children did not have brush because there was not enough time to brush their teeth. Many teachers (82.4%) took a role of educate oral health, thus their oral health knowledge level was high.
Therefore, day care teachers should have accurate knowledge to improve children¡¯ oral health level.
